No, I live in United States, in the middle west. In Ohio, more specifically.

The continental Interior of Spain is very cold in winter too, but the southern Castilian Meseta, where Madrid is located, is not that cold as here or Belgrade. Madrid might be lets say, as cold as Tennessee, perhaps?

Maybe Castilla-Leon (the northern Castilian meseta) can be similarly cold in winter to here (Ohio) or Belgrade.

I mentioned Belgrade as heat island in area in the last decades due to urbanization.

Here are for camparation annual temperatures in Belgrade and Batajnica (it's 18-19 away from Belgrade) for few years https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batajnica

    (1998) Batajnica 11.6c / Belgrade 12.7c
    (2001) Batajnica 11.7c / Belgrade 12.6c
    (2002) Batajnica 12.5c / Belgrade 13.7c
    (2003) Batajnica 11.6c / Belgrade 12.8c
    (2004) Batajnica 11.3c / Belgrade 12.5c
    (2005) Batajnica 10.7c / Belgrade 11.8c

I found data for Batajnica only for these years, and according to these 6 years Batajnica is colder than Belgrade for 1.1c per year. It's huge difference for such a small geographical distance.

Here is numbers of days with snow cover in Belgrade in 21st century by seasons.
It's already New Year and we haven't seen a single snowflake and the temperatures are well above zero. It's possible there won't be any more snow this winter compared to the previous one.

Nowadays the weather is very shitty, last year only once was snow. This night after 12 o'clock, instead of snowing, started to rain and temperature was around 9°C.

The city in Ohio where I live, or the cities from Castilla-Leon are heat islands too. So I think the area where I live (including country side) and Castilla-Leon in Spain, are more or less the same, in winter temperatures, with the Serbian area where Belgrade is located.

Today is good example of differences between Belgrade and surrounding places caused with urbanization.
Today low in Belgrade was 0c and high was 12c (as Dušan said). In Batajnica low was -2c and high was 9c.

I agree with you. Belgrade area is also humid in most of the year including winter. Ohio is also humid.

It was built up fast in the last 30 to 40 years. The expansion was not well planned and organized. So the final result is its not nice place to live, and then when I criticize Serbs you complain.
