Spanish is not that easy to understand for French speakers, although at the first glance it may seems. There are lot of verbs and grammatical forms that are different. The pronunciation also.

I never had problems because I'm a native speaker in italian and italian is somewhat a middle between spanish and french, so I could understand many spanish words even without having learnt them.

Sans doute un texte ecrit en espagnol. Mais si on essai de comprendre les versiones parlees des deux langues, ca serait plus pareils.

Maybe a bit more with english because it's a germanic language, but none of these two are close to what French is.
