Default In your country, how commonplace are bilingual schools?

In Wales, between 20-25% of schools now teach wholly or partly through the medium of Welsh. Scotland and Northern Ireland also have a very small number of bilingual Gaelic schools. In England, I believe there are a couple of private schools - one in Manchester and one in Oxford, though don't quote me on it - which teach through multiple languages.

In Colombia, there are a substantial and growing number of private schools which are bilingual with US English, though there are a much smaller number of schools which teach bilingually with British English, French, German, Italian and even Mandarin and Japanese too.

In Colombia there are surprisingly a lot of bilingual schools. In each city or big town there are at least 3 or 4. Mostly German and English.

But are there any bilingual universities too? I am certainly not aware of any.

I know some in my city, but its certainly not common in Brazil. Althouth most schools have classes of english and spanish one hour per week which is not sufficient to learn a foreigner language.

Philippines and India were both colonised by English-speaking countries, Mexico wasn't. All the same, they (and a good many other English-speaking countries) are still poorer overall than Mexico.
