Well, "Lusitania" has come down to the present day as a classical/poetic name for Portugal.
But the Lusitanes were, as you say, a group -- a federation of tribes. Also, maps of the the Iberian Peninsula in the 1st century BC, when Roman conquest was underway in the Eastern and Southern Iberian coasts already, show that the Lusitanes ruled Central Portugal and also the modern Spanish region of Extremadura & a little more inland. Curiously, the Lusitanes didn't control the Atlantic coast. Another group, or 2 groupss, known as the Turduli (Turduli Oppidani & Turduli Vetteres), controlled a narrow strip of coastline. But, they have been described as an example of pre-Roman, "La Tene" culture, similar to the Lusitanes themselves. More than half of what is now modern Spain was also Celtic or Celtiberian.

Are you talking genetically, culturally? I think in both not really... you could say northern Portugal and Galicia are known as the Celtic "heritage" areas. But I wouldn't consider Portuguese more Celtic than Spanish necessarily. More like NW Spain and Portugal together are the Celtic hotspots of the peninsula. And all throughout-- celtiberian.
