I fully support torture and execution of terrorists, surprise surprise. I believe in being 10x more vicious than your enemies and making the consequences real.

Torture is a very inefficient form of questioning. As for executing them ? When you know all you need to know, just march him out the back and put him down on his knee. He can say his prayers before he gets an acute case of boom stick-induced, skull administered lead-poisoning. No bureaucracy needed. Thank you. Goodbye. Bon appétit to the vultures.

That is not truly Western that is why Israel is the only 'Western' nation to legally sanction torture AFAIK. You are savage who does not belong in Western civilization.

You have to consider what torturing people does to the people doing the torturing. Unless you want to screen in favor of psychopaths but then you'd have to ask yourself what type of society do you want where you hire psychopaths who get off on torturing people, even if you feel they deserve it.

It's also a slippery slope where such an attitude can trickle down to the military and law enforcement.

I prefer hard labor for terrorists. Now some people will say that people are adaptable, which is true, and many may prefer decades of hard labor over death because of a fear of death (Ted Bundy, for example, was terrified of dying) but they'll never be a perfect punishment for a terrorist or murderer. They're going to die eventually. At least you know they're living the shittiest life they can have until then and, personally, that would please me more than simply killing them.
