The women were the same as the one's today, the men were darker since most Ancient men spent more time out doors. The nobility while fair/white in youth would have also quickly darkened after their more sheltered youth/education. Jew's also have European ancestry mostly from the Greek and Italian women they converted and married in Ancient Rome, that is how Ashkenazim Jew's were created.

I dont understand, now Im with Alexios out of Cefalonia, Im inside Balkan Greece now, some people with white and olive skin apperared, but still more than half have brown skin.

physically they probably didn't change much. I doubt the 5-10% extra Northern admixture played a significant role. Also pigmentation within West Eurasian genes has as much to do with climate imo. However genetically modern Greeks are defintiely slightly more Northern shifted than ancient Greeks. Ancient Greeks appear to be best represented by modern Cretans.
