    Default Favorite Star Wars episode?

So, my parents got hooked on the Mandalorian and I realized they were missing a lot of the juicy story from the movies. It gave me the idea to make them watch episodes 1-3 (prequels) then to rewatch episodes 4, 5, and 6 (original trilogy), and to ignore the newest ones (hated them). We just got finished marathoning the prequels, and finally my dad and mom understand Darth Vaders past, Jango fett and the clones for the troopers, and that Boba was an unaltered clone.

I’m wondering what all of yalls thoughts are on the prequels, original, and sequel? Which one is your favorite. I’m getting into the lore now a lot more with watching YouTube theory videos and all that, love the whole Star Wars universe again from since I was obsessed as a young kid. The mandalorian restored my happiness and joy with the finale!

My favorite one is Revenge of the Sith, definitely. The Emperor is my favorite character on the entire saga, played everyone like a fiddle.

I’m expecting the original trilogy to win the vote. I personally liked the prequels, but I’m biased as I grew up with them, and each episode brings me insane nostalgia. I also felt the Star Wars universe’s livelihood b/c most of episodes 2 and 3 take place on Coruscant in the Galactic City, so we see the Jedi Temple and everything is so populated. Original trilogy of course is the heart of Star Wars though, and it’s also has a lively nature for me... the sequels? Oh forget about it everything is dead.

Haha, yep. Rewatching for the first time since I was like 5 (in theatre) I realize now how easily the guy manipulated not only Anakin, but everyone. Mace windu’s death still got me pissed... and Also padme almost dying from a 3 second choke hold got me mad lol... then she dies from not wanting to live, symbolism I assume of love gone.

Despite me being an early millennial (plus being a teenager when they made the special editions of the Original trilogy in 97') I liked the prequel trilogy more because they answered the fundamental question I had after seeing the original one, namely, how the Jedi were at their prime. Everybody likes to pile on Episode I, but for me it fully did its job by doing just that, plus Darth Maul.

I'm an Empire Strikes Back guy, everything else was a notch or more below to me. Yup, even episode 4.
