I've wasted way too many years of my life as a consequence of trying to pursue a certain path, a path I never wanted to walk, but I thought it would be the best for me because of the opinion of others (and my own ego played a role, it was perceived as a more "prestigious" path too).
I don't think you should follow your passions in a reckless way, but you should always consider your own dreams too, and maybe find a balance.
I don't disagree, but why do you want to ruin one my main sources of entertainment here?
