I speak only Russian and English, and I understand a bit Ukrainian and Polish.



I remember some members who speak more than 3 languages.


Tooting Carmen knows English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and a bit German and Catalan.

Baluarte(former member) knew Spanish, English, French, Italian and a bit German.

Root(former member) knew Russian, Finnish, Chechen, English, Dutch and a bit Arabic, Ossetian and Avar.

Seya knows Romanian, Spanish, Italian, French, English, Portuguese and Russian.

I think it is logical that you know French or any other Romance languages because of Romanian.

I speak Swedish and English fluently. At times I wonder how I managed to learn the second. Probably through kinesthetic learning at home, since I struggled in school with it. I also have something closer to an American accent, whereas you're supposed to learn British English in the education system.

Then I can read German with some comprehension. You need to have done some studying before that whether you are a Swedish or English speaker. They're similar (both Germanic), but not that similar.

I have all this free time due to Covid so why not try learning a bunch of languages for fun, right? Most fucky part about learning Japanese so far are memorizing the kanji characters, fml, if everything could just be written with hiragana and katakana I'd be so much happier, lmao.

I only count those that I can hold a conversation in, not those that I can read/hear something about and discern a couple of similar words. I had to learn French at school and then kept being exposed to French media.
