Not sure just how many Filipinos are in here. Surely I'm not the first! Thought I'd post an introduction before I start another thread. Hello all!

You say your ethnicity is Tagalog, so I guess you are from Luzon.
I have been to Philippines a few times, and my partner is from Manila, but she's Bicolana.

Hello, yes I'm from Luzon. Manila specifically.

I know Manila quite well. And, yes, I make it beyond Pasay. Lol. Better half was born and raised there - although now she's out in Cavite.

How is the Skyway doing ? Stage 4 now, right ? It shaves off one's journey time. The last time around, it took me 20 minutes to get back from Paco Park to NAIA. Instead of the regular 45 mins to 1 hour.

According to news, it's on stage 3. The last time I used it to go to NAIA, yes, it cut down the travel time!

Not a bad piece of infrastructure. It's ugly as sin, but you don't notice it when you're on it. As for the tolls ? I can imagine a lot of people being unable to afford it, but those don't drive cars. I can remember NAIA back in '12. Terminal 1. It wasn't a cheerful sight but things have changed tremendously.
