Wine always gives me a hangover. I don't get that with whiskey. Must be in the genes.

Wine gives me the dirty feeling angry drunk that people say tequila gives them; just an all around unenjoyable experience to me. I don't even particularly like brandy, same thing; but brandy is essentially just concentrated wine so it makes sense. The chemistry of whiskey is made for British people.

Especially if you are Irish or Scots. Great whiskey drinking songs as well.

I think that goes for a lot of people due to high sugar content in grapes. It's also important not to buy cheap wine which is a guaranteed hangover. I think wine drink requires a certain finesse compared to other alcohols.

Since nobody here likes wine, feel free to send me your most expensive wine bottles.

Is boxed wine or bags of wine cheap wine?

Most likely, it reminds me of hangovers from college. I fear that cheap wines are what shape peoples opinion. People should spurge on a good wine once in a while.

I very rarely drink wine and only white wine at that. I much prefer spirits. Whiskey is my favourite.
