I remember when Belgium installed a temporary emergency government with a Francophone majority during the first covid wave last spring. I saw Flemish journalists beg to the government to do what French-speaking Belgians do best, follow France with strict lockdowns.
Nowadays Flemish are looking to France with dread and are hoping Francophone Belgians are curbing their enthusiasm in looking toward Paris for 18h curfews are dictatorial.

Still, I face-palmed a lot when a vocal minority of Flemish were behaving like the cowards they are.

The U.S is hard to compare to either though. Places like where I live are a whole different world from a lot of the U.S, we are so large with so many different subcultures and ideas. The entirety of Britain and NL is like two states out of 50.

I would give it to Britain just for the fact they are now officially EU free. I hope for the sake of the Dutch farmers and ranchers they too can break away from that mess and globalism.

I did not really watch the video but since women are materialistic philistines and a woman did the video I can pretty much have a good idea what it is about. It is about the anti-noble tinker mentality where everything has a price a tag or it is ultra materialistc . Well, not everything has a price tag.

It is very difficult for people to appreciate the size and varierty between areas in the US, the media don't make this clear though.

Countries on this side of the pond are almost jealous of societal issues and tensions that exist in some cities in the US, so seek to emulate the culture by protesting against blocks of stone and various other convenient symbols
