Who has historically been more assimilated within European society?

Historically overall or at specific times and places if you prefer to answer that way. Which group to do you think has been the most assimilated within The European societies they lived in. The Jews or the Romani?

I think Jews overall have been more assimilated for the past 250 years but before that I don’t know I would say we were probably around equally assimilated within the the European societies we lived in.

Lol but I don’t think the fact that we have had more successful or wealthy individuals necessarily meant those Jewish individuals were more assimilated.

Jews are genetically less distant to mainstream europeans and have lighter skin and more european appearance, so by definition they are more assimilated, but that is something you cannot choose or work it out, it is just how they are born. also they were part of the western world before they came to europe, israel was part of the roman empire. jesus christ was a jew. the gypsies are from far away and only 500 years in europe.

While I mostly agree with that statement. Assimilation has more to to with way of life, ideas, and culture. Meaning a Pashtun who lives in Germany can technically be more assimilated into German society then an actual ethnic German

Nah assimilation with distant people is rejected by mainstream society. See jim crow, segregation, immigrant quotas etc.
