Kind of sucks that new and innocent members on the forum have to suffer from the legacy someone else sowed.

The constant war between R1 and I haplogroups is all the fault of a single Polish member named Rethel who some time ago made it his life goal on the forum to thrash and shitpost on a daily basis those of Proto-European heritage and belittle the two I's as much as possible.

Before his arrival there was inter-haplogroup peace and harmony. He is the sole person responsible for the hostilities and trolling that still exist on the forum and negatively impacts new members.

We are a small percentage of Europeans statistically but we are proud and we will not tolerate the behavior of R1thel and his kind who have always wanted us to be extinct and gone and not be a constant reminder of what they are not. Our people have been fighting against R1 tyranny and still fight on to this day.

I don't really get the obsession about y-DNA, or mtDNA (for that matter). Don't get me wrong it's a good confirmation of your modern-day origin on either line, but it isn't a 100% clear-cutout indication of whether you are from somewhere, or not. I am r1b, and in Iberia alone, you'll find a fair share of r1a's, I's, E's, etc... an R1b isn't necessarily more native to the region than an I, E, or r1a, as a matter of fact, they are all migrants. I suppose in my case it means I had a (in theory) celtiberian ancestrial line, while someone could have a modern line that started from a phonencian, or North African, viking, germanic, whatever... but What you're discussing happening in the past on here, definitely sounds like a solely anthrotarded idea for sure.

^ It doesn't matter to most people including myself. It mattered to Rethel because he was obsessing over this grand idea of Indo-European greatness and how Indo-Europeans and their culture is the apex of what an European is as a definition.

However there was one big elephant in the room trampling all over Rethel's vision. And that was I1 and I2 - the only haplogroups that originated in Europe and exist here and only here, while R1 is found among many non-European populations. This drove R1thel to madness and fueled his hatred. He is a man driven by bitterness, spite and secretly - envy.

And almost everything what Linebraker wrote about me, I have never said or even suggest.
He has luxuriant imagination for sure. But what is the point of being upset of imaginery things?
