Of course it’s because of those reasons that I attended a private school, and ultimately not because of the work ethic and hard working attitude of my immigrant great grandparents (that arrived penniless after WW1) and my relatively poor family from Maria Elena.

I would say that yes, even on "poor" districts in Santiago like La Pintana or PAC you can find white looking people, mostly Iberian looking (while in places like NE Santiago most tend to have "gringo" looking, being usually British/French/German mixed). However, by personal experience on those districts, people see you as an alien (and heck, I don't even consider myself white anyway) or something away from the common average person.
I wouldn't go that far as to say "an alien" but yeah definitely something away from the common average person.

All I'm saying is that your argument is based on your personal experience, but your personal experience is not representative of Antofagasta because you belong to the wealthiest 10% of the city. That's all.

At least let's try to have a good level of debate. If I'm stating arguments based on academic studies, you cannot refute based on your personal experience, that's just a very weak argument.

Also even if your great grandparents arrived penniless, the mere fact that they were European meant they were privileged and had it easier compared to more Indigenous-looking people. Everyone knows being light-skinned is an advantage in Chile, as it's got a culture of colourism similar to pretty much everywhere in Latin America. Most Chileans would actually agree on that.

    Brazil is 42% of the population (80% euro, average 100% - 70%)

As a engineer I just laugh a lot everytime someone from humanities use our 'x' in a retard way

Now laughing at retard expressions = far-right jajaja

While we build skyscrapers using 'x' you use it to live in a elitist bubble

First, English words don't have a gender like Spanish words so saying "Mestizx" is actually more accurate as it includes both men and women.

Secondly, I don't understand why colourism would be a "retard expression", as it is literally in the dictionary.

Thirdly, I'm from La Florida which as you know it's not where "the elite" lives.

Fourthly, I don't even know why you assumed I studied "humanities" which is also broad as fuck.

Finally, I wouldn't laugh so much if I were you, since your English isn't even good. You say "everytime" instead of "every time", "retard" instead of "retarded", "a elitist" instead of "an elitist" and so on.

Good luck voting for Tere Marinovic mate haha

I agree with your second paragraph though, good point.

It depends on your definition of white.

But in general terms I'd say they're a very small minority in Northern Chile (still higher than in Peru or Bolivia), around 12 to 15% in Central Chile (even though studies suggest less), especially common amongst wealthier Chileans, and around 8% to 11% in Southern Chile, where Northern European ancestry could be a tiny more important.
Sorry if I'm being nitpicky, but for southern Chile would you say it's closer to 8 or 11 percent? And by white I mean 80% percent more Euro.
