Global Warming stopped being the politically correct terminology over 10 years ago for this very reason.

Ideal for Cristiano Viejo. Now he can LARP a Spanish tercio in the Low Countries, 16th and 17th centuries. Too many mountains, I guess. Never experienced such low temperature, but I guess it's only at high altitudes in Spain.

In both Castillas they have being all the day under 0ºC and in many cities they reached -8 or -10. Some small villages with certain characteristics reached -15. These temperatures have been the lowest in most of Europa for the last days. Even coastal Scandinavia had less cold temperatures. It is relatively normal for the Pirineos to reach -15 or even -20, but going to -30 is extremely rare. It is curious that the record is set in Picos de Europa. Just 50kms in straight line to the north and you have 50ºC difference in the coast of Asturias. The half north of Spain is colder than Germany or Poland. And the difference in Spain is that the coldest áreas as in the plains of Castilla. The other coldest áreas in Europa are in the mountains (Alpes or Carpatos), but in Spain it is just a plain (a Meseta) where these temperatures are -3 -4 right now.

It seems we could beat records this night again. It is curious the difference between Sweden and Norway.

Global warming is real. It's very slight but it's clear temperatures have been increasing in the last decades. Here is Portugal:

It's very clear since 1970 and we have been above average in the last few decades. This is also true for everywhere in the world.

Agree, what is not so clear is how many affected the human being in this.

This last wednesday when I was to the job at 6am the temperature scored -8º. I remember some years ago when I lived in Southern Castilla (Albacete) a morning was -10º. Working in the street with such temperature is hilarious.
