Because first we should focusing ending all earth problems before considering moving somewhere else like ending poverty, social Inequality, bad governments , free universal healthcare , less fertility rate , If all governments dedicated to find a cure for HIV Cancer diabetis etc we would probably find one like Covid all it takes corporation.

Also leaving Christianity aside from politcs the Vatican for example Is field with gold because of corruption.

That's a stupid position - when humans first went into space there were a shitload of unsolved problems like povery, hunger etc. However space exploration brought us a lot of new technologies that allowed for some of this problems if not to be solved, but atleast to be made less significant. Any new technology requires an overconcentration of resourses, so someone should be left behind.

We havent been able to orbit the planet yet let alone colonizing a foreign planet. There are space station with humans working on data gathering but orbitting the planet not yet.
