He might have. He actually resembles this man with his very thick eyebrows

However he also has other influences (Norid, Alpine etc.) that give him a more Northwestern look, with his blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin.

Turkey would've been like Afghanistan or Pakistan hadn't it been for him. Women taken as fourth wives, sinners are whipped and stoned, terror groups like Taliban gaining ground and imposing Sharia law. He was the greatest liberator. He's called Ataturk as in Father of the Turks because Turks owe their freedom to him.
