I think it's interesting as heck, as a North American, to view the perspective of those from Spanish lands. Because it's a major part of Western Civilization, yet not in the Anglosphere. I can get by in Spanish, due to working with Mexican field migrants on a farm in North Carolina, and I hired many of them later when I ran a lawn mowing buisness in Dallas, TX. In fact, I was nicknamed "Bueno Patron," back then, which I thought was an honor.
I used to think CV was a funny dude, because of the maniacal Easter smilies he'd put in the TA chatbox, etc. We were buddies.
but I think he eventually found out, to his dismay, that I was Anglo...(and then I discovered his very racist posts on the forum) so it died out.
I think I've seen more Spanish content being added to the forum lately, than I have before. Cool to see that.

I see that your attitude is very positive that is good for life in general and it is true that old friendships are missed; even if it is in a forum by luck or unfortunately they spend many hours and sometimes accompanies.

I think my experience online has been pretty fine. Well, ignorant guiris have some idiotic preconceptions/stereotypes about Spain but all countries have those, most people seem at least semi interested in learning about the richness that is Spanish culture and history.
