Default TEXIT? Texas lawmakers consider Brexit-like move in wake of socialism trend

    https://www.bizpacreview.com/2021/01...t-war-1015438/
The Texas lawmaker suggested that he and others are already working on “legislation” that would put the question to voters of whether they wanted to remain within the U.S., as British citizens voted 52-48 percent in June 2016 to leave the EU.

The bill “is the beginning of the process,” he said. “Do we want to have the right to be an independent state? After that question is answered ‘yes,’ then that process begins.”

Biedermann said that a committee would then be established by Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s office, as well as members of the state’s legislature, “and we will address all of the things that it would take to be an independent nation, an independent state, a Republic of Texas.”
If this eventually succeeds I'm moving to Texas.

Non Hispanic Whites are about 41% of the population in Texas. Hispanics of all races as almost as numerous. This seems to challenge the narrative that almost all Conservatives, right-wingers, MAGA etc. are Whites. Notice that most "white Hispanics" traditionally would not be considered white as in the US census, as generally "White" is considered a synonym of Euro-American, and I think this is how most liberal-leftists in the US see it too.

How about we help California and New York leave and the rest of the country stays united?

Trump has a huge amount of Hispanic support in Texas. He got about 1/3 of the Hispanic vote across the country overall but it was closer to 1/2 in Texas.

Yes, the US should lose the 5th largest economy in the world (California, larger economy than the UK or India) and 12th largest (New York, larger economy than Russia). It would especially smart considering the tax revenue of those states pays for federal spending in places like Wyoming, that contribute little to the US economy.

Nothing else should rhyme with exit again. Call it self-determination, home-rule, independence or whatever. Just not Texit Thank you.
