I think Smeagol wouldn't care if California would be the 1st largest economy in the world.

I love you man, but you're simply wrong. Those places have money now because either the banks are headquartered there or the feds spend money there. All Silicon Valley was built through military contracts, you should read the history of it. Once the feds spend someplace else California is dead.

But didn't you write smtm ago that you had some kraut ancestry as well? Or maybe I'm confusing u with somebody else... Whatever, even today German-Americans are the biggest ethnic group in the US by census, which probably means that if one is white (euro) and doesn't live in the Deep South, he likely has some kraut ancestor. That's not a bad thing if you ask me - not least because I have kraut blood myself. Peace bro!

?... It is JB007 who seems to have a problem with them, not me. I meant "That's not a bad thing if you ask me" to have such ancestry.

Even though I was born In Visalia ( San joaquin valley ) california I don't really support any separation movement...

Seems people have concrete on the head instead an actual brain losing california would be a big mistake.

But would separation be really so bad? When you have a couple quarreling all the time and wrecking the house with infighting maybe separation is not such a bad idea. For instance you could have several homelands (individual states, groups of states or even parts of states) based on political and economic leaning, some based on ethnicity too, and have them form a loose confederation with common defense and currency, but otherwise independent. A sort of North American Commonwealth. Sometimes it is useful to think out of the box. Btw, some dems want to create two new states thus it seems big changes may come anyway. Just my 2 cents.

The Secession bill has been drafted and filed in the Texas House of Representatives. If approved by the Texas House and Senate and signed by the Governor, there will be a referendum.
