Is Polish language ugly?

It does sound ugly too me. Very harsh for ears. But not ugliest in Europe - that honor goes to Scandinavian languages and Dutch.

Pretty much only English and Romance languages have a smooth sound. All other European language groups are pretty harsh sounding even German if it's not spoken in the old fashioned elegant way. Polish isn't particularly harsh, I think it depends on the speaker. I am not too familiar with the regional differences though.

It sounds pretty harsh to me like it's lacking vowels but it depends on your native language. It might not sounds the same to everyone.

Well, it sounds familiar to me like many other Slavic languages. Has a similar phonetic (all of those ç, ş, r, t, k) with Turkish but completely another language for sure. Still that familiarity makes me like it.
