I agree. Actually Szekelers are closest to Romanian average, even though, unlike "Moldovans", they are not ethnic Romanian... This is quite bizarre if you think about it, but it just shows there is no clear correlation between ethnicity and genes.

OP group is somewhere in between Central Romanians and Southern Russians. Compared to Romanian average people are shorter with much higher CM component and much less Med. Slavic influence is considerable but "East Nordid" (Slavic version of Aryan race) is almost absent...

This is not true. Szekelys have their own look, different from Romanian despite there is overlap between the two.

I cherry-picked what from my perspective l perceive as an average for Chisinau. It's biased towards Moldovans/Romanians primarily, but some ethnic minorities also look like that. Perhaps because here it is not uncommon for them to have some Moldovan admixture.
