Because more than every second person is a light haired and blue eyed there. She is not atypical by features tho. I was thinking if she could fit better as german for example since this wide faced alpinid like type is more common there, but no she looks more scandinavian overall..

I think the same is true when someone is red or blond in southern Europe. Those who do not live in Europe (usually foreigners) soon think that they must have some recent ancestor from northern Europe (which is also ridiculous.) Blonds from southern Europe are genetically grouped with other southern Europeans as well as brunettes from the north genetically grouping with the north.

Few Swedes do have brown eyes, but brown-eyed Alpinid German look is not that atypical. Dinaricization is where atypical in Sweden really starts, IMHO.
