Super king in the past. I sleep better with space around me, especially in summer.

Queen size beds, imo, are perfect for the single person.

In the same bed - we are not yet disgusting to each other. But to prevent this from happening ahead of time, you need to take a break from time to time from your loved ones.
My wife goes to live with her parents for some time once every 2-3 weeks (during covid once a month). My relationship with my parents only improved when I left them for Moscow.

Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton even occupied separate houses as a couple ... next to each other. They are not together anymore so maybe there was something wrong here much earlier than their break-up.

I'm not in relationship at this moment but this reminded me of one Serbian old lady interviewed several years ago.
When they asked how she achieved to live in happy marriage for 50 years with her husband, her answer was something like "Well, you know, all our problems and quarrels were solved in bed, when he would hug and kiss me in shoulder". I suppose that I have same opinion as her.

It’s a very serious question. It seems it’s somewhat taboo to sleep separately from your partner. It always arouses suspicion and criticism. And yes, I don’t sleep with my husband, we have separate bedrooms (and my daughter has her own bedroom), and it’s just fine that way. We can do what we want, if I’m not tired at night, I can read in my bed without disturbing him, etc. We just separate desire and sleep.
