In terms of genetics. Considering proximity between both nations. Morrocans could easily reach cuarteron range in average. Depending if spaniards really had interest to colonize and mix themselves with morrocans (which I really doubt) or simply rule from the outside without any intention of coexist and live with native people(as happended in Guinea Ecuatorial and Western Sahara)

In terms of religion. I could simply not imagine a Catholic Morroco. At least I think they would be more hard to convince than amerindians were.

In terms of economic development and infraestructure, nowday mena countries are an incredible piece of shit ( mostly magrebi countries), except a few. I imagine with spaniard could reach something similar to what we have in latin america.
His extremely dry and desertic climate resemble somehow areas of Boliva, Peru and Chile. Such as Atacama dessert.

It took about 2 years, but the Aztec Empire also wasn't all that big, it took them around 10-20 years to conquer all of Mexico and Guatemala.

Well rural moroccans are known to be very hostile to outsiders I think they are death serious of keeping their Indigenous berber customes.

They still have had contact by proxy via trade even if they only traded locally and during the Neolithic people from Europe and North Africa both mingled. The Indo-Europeans also mixed with related peoples so NA would have had more immunities to herder diseases than Europeans.
