Vlado Chernozemski wasn't even born in Macedonia. He was from Velingrad. Many VMRO members weren't born in Macedonia - Ivan Garvanov, Todor Panitsa, Mihail Daev, etc.

The goal of VMRO changed throughout the years, there wasn't a single one VMRO, there was restructure several times. It was created for Macedonian-Thracian liberation from the Ottoman Empire, later its goal was unification, after WW1 it was independent Macedonia (because it became obvious the Great Powers would not allow united Bulgaria). The original VMRO (VMORO) was based on socialist ideals. They wanted a republic and rejected rule by all neighbouring monarchies. Goce Delcev, Nikola Karev and other leaders of the organisation were socialists and believed in these ideals. Later the organisation changed as Bulgarian agents began to infiltrate the Organisation and highjack it's course. Former VMRO members like Gligor Sokolov(ic) and Captain Kottas realised this and changed sides to fight for Serbian and Greek bands for example. Fact remains though that the only fighting force that aimed for an independent Macedonia was VMRO and that is what draws Macedonians to it, even to this day.

I do see your point, this name VRMO was initially created to crush Serbian uprising in Macedonia, I’m sorry, the name VRMO, knowing its past makes me sick like the Ustashi or even the Hanzars.
