Well, it's not like saying ''blue-eyed Zambians''. While mainly dark-eyed, Lebanese have some fair people (not necessarily with a recent Euro ancestor).

IDK about that, Lebanese and Syrians are at least lighter eyed than Sardinians that are not even 14% light eyed, taking in count that there are some countries with much less percentage of light eyes than Italy, I would say there are some another areas of some countries that are darker eyed than them especially in Greece and maybe Albania or Portugal, and some areas of Lebanon(South) and Syria (Southeastern)(take in count that a lot of Druze live there and they range from 25 to 40% light eyed) or Latakia compete in eye colouring with even bigger areas of Southern Europe.

Sorry, but that's quite a flawed reasoning. You used old anthropological data as a referrence point for the amount of light eyes in various regions of Italy, which is fine. But where's the equally comprehensive data for Lebanon or Syria? You can't just say that entire parts of those countries are as light as Southern Europe without any "proof" whatsoever.
As far as I'm concerned however, a better method would be making an amateur study comparing non-celebs (so no actors, models and the like) in a similar manner to what XenophobicPrussian did for hair color in Europe. Just a brief glance at their national teams makes me sure the difference would be obvious.
