Alphabets are for retards. Kazakhs should be Mongoloid enough that they're smart enough to learn a syllabic writing system.

True. That is why Latin is important. Kazakh and Kyrgyz alphabet still Cyrillic oriented that leads Russian speaking. I have Uzbek relative and they know their language. They do not use Cyrillic often like Kazakh. My uncle is fully Fluent in Russian Kyrgyz Kazakh Uzbek since he stayed in Central Asia quite long for business. There are some East Turkistan Kazakhs and some of them communicate Kazakh in Latin. Pretty understandable. Kind of mixed Uyghur Kazakh.. I hope all Kazakhs and Kyrgyz can be like that in the future so that we can understand each other easier...

In short, this is a reform for the sake of ending assimilation by the Russians and the re-creation of the nation, but here is the moment:

For example, the Balts left the Soviet technological cluster, were left without technology, because leaving one does not mean coming to another. So here too, they will leave the Russian-language information field, they will also leave all the Russian advantages associated with education. Forward back to the ancestors, to the village, the shepherd is also an honest job. As a result, foreigners (Russians, Europeans, Chinese) will take all the technological industries from them, the aborigines will be left with cows and will twist their tails. Any of the Kazakhs that can escape from the small-town environment will automatically cease to be a Kazakh, since the creation of a nationality always polarizes society, it's like Russians are only those who live in Russia. Well, in the new wonderful world of post-socialism, no one will raise small peoples from buffer countries to their technological level, on the contrary, their big brother will help them in their parochialism, everyone will be given a dombra and vyshivanka, so it will be more convenient to pump out their brains, because the national outskirts simply will not have application points for them. The buffer zone should be fundamentally flawed, because it is a buffer and not a locomotive as the communists tried to make, so vyshivankas are inevitable for the former Soviet republics, everyone is interested in it, as local elites, so that it is more convenient for them to graze their sheep, and the metropolis since it’s easier to keep them in subjection, and at the same time, you cannot accuse the metropolis of somehow strangling the rights of these buffer territories, they themselves are going their own way to a bright future.

So the reassembly of a nation always goes through polarization, the excess is cut off to form a stable core.
Just creating a nationality is a dead-end road, you have to create a nation. Ultimately, several supernations will remain on the planet, and the Kazakhs will still have to join someone, how this will happen, all the people will join one supernation as early as possible in order to strengthen it and become a part of this supernation, leave their mark on it, well and immediately receive bonuses from membership in a supernation or drag out wretched existence in your national pot in order to end up being ground between several supernations, dissolving into all of them and leaving no trace anywhere. This is the problem of the Kazakhs, not our problem, we will get our own in any scenario.

Kazakhs actually have no choice with whom to join. The pragmatic approach is Russia. And they had (and still have) a competitive edge over other Asians. This is knowledge of the Russian language, Russian culture, Russian history and Russian tradition.

But this advantage flows away like sand through your fingers.
The transition to the Latin alphabet will close the way for younger generations to 90% of books (which will never be translated) and printed articles.

I've read that 50% of Kazakhs don't know the Kazakh language. Even it's 70% at new Kyrgyz generation

The big majority of kazakhs do speak their own language. They prefer to communicate in russian more because the russian ethnics there don't understand kazakh, but among them, they do communicate in kazakh. You can see young generation of kazakhs communicate in russian with each other but they do know kazah too. Older generations speak only kazakh with each other. Some villagers don't even know russian. They try to force russian ethnics to learn kazakh now. Russian will not be used as an official language in a few years.
They're smarter than Ukraine, they'll never speak against Russia but slowly, slowly they started to push away the russian ethnics from key positions in the state.

Okay. Cyrillic script was initially created for Orthodox Slavs, not for Kazakhs.
