    Hmm, well. I think as a group they could pass anywhere in LatinAm that has a significant Euro component, so Uruguayans, Argentines and Cubans, etc, maybe Puerto Ricans (now that you bring them up) but it sort of depends on what population we are talking about. The people I have met in the diaspora, say in New York or Miami were usually phenotypically triracials or some variant of that, meanwhile when I actually went to PR a lot of them, not most, but a sizable chunk just straight up looked like Canarios, it was actually kind of interesting to be so far away from the islands and seeing so many familiar faces.

    If I had to guess what nationality these people were I would probably guess Argentine, but I could see them in a few different countries.
