Is President Joe Biden 'an elderly man struggling to maintain his faculties?'

That’s one of the unkinder — or at least blunter — takeaways social media had after Wednesday night’s CNN presidential town hall in the Cincinnati area where Biden pushed vaccination, his spending plans, gun control and the impression this definitely wasn’t the guy who should be leading the free world.

Two clips in particular seemed to sum up the general atmosphere of the night. In the first (tweet above), Biden struggled when asked about when vaccines would be available for children under 12.

As the crisis in Afghanistan leaves tens of thousands of Americans stranded in a country that is entirely controlled by Taliban forces, with the notable exception being a single airport in Kabul, Joe Biden is preparing to go home to Delaware for a “long weekend” and Kamala Harris is racing to the airport for a 6-day “trip” to Southeast Asia, leaving the White House bereft of elected leaders during the crisis.

Neither elected representative of the executive branch of government will be in the White House over the weekend. According to the FAA, Air Force One is set to fly to Delaware tomorrow evening, ostensibly taking Joe Biden to his Delaware home. It will not return to Washington, D.C. until Monday.
