As I said, he's still a nationalist. He supported an ultranationalist, Sergei Furgal, in Khabarovsk Krai. And he almost exclusively supports nationalist politicians with his "Smart Voting" system. If he supports other nationalists to be elected, and he himself wants to cut down immigration and give priority to ethnic Russians, he's a nationalist basically.

Navalny is a product of the system, he changed his "political views" some ten times due to populism, from vulgar nationalist to almost leftist. Indeed he's involved in crimes he commited during the period when he used to be a good puppet of Russian state, so nobody even tried to charge or arrest him. Now he's the ball being bounced between "two towers of Moscow Kremlin", two groups of Russian elites who are in intensive struggle of the last five years. It's hard for me to debate you as far as your information is damn far from reality and your knowledge of the current Russia's situation is close to abstract.

Navalny is an economical left-wing populist who seeks for the larger taxes, higher minimum wage, abnormal welfare and federal aid, he doesn't know how to make people richer, but he's a populist talking head, so it's ok. He's rapidly moving to left-liberal in other questions aswell. Navalny and his allies openly called on voting communists just to vote against Putin's party. Navalny's boys and his sympathizers are often allied with KPRF communist party in various political and non-political actions, especially when it comes to opposing building some local Churches. The only time he showed himself a sort of "patriot" was the Crimea deal, when he didn't accept the idea that "Crimea should be returned" as land cannot be moved either ways like a piece of bread. A part of his own sympathizers and Ukrainian nationalists cursed him badly back then, it was hilarious. Navalny is awful at any debates, he lacks basic knowledges in most of questions, his only strong side is yelling to the microphone for 2-4 minutes to his precious sectarians. His corruption investigations on youtube are the only thing he did well and 80% of them were silently allowed by state while 20% left were allowed by his private patrons from the Russian elite.

Furgal is just a regional duke and criminal who created own principality with his own laws. He's a member of LDPR party, like any other political force in Russia they're a puppet of the state. Furgal's interests collided with the state so his crimes were raised from the bottom.

A poor personality, low charisma, tendency to lies, low intellectual abilities and basic knowledges cannot make a good politician of him, just a puppet, populist and failure.
