Default How does Saterland Frisian language sound to you?

I find it incredible that far inland in German one of the Frisian languages is spoken, albeit by only 2000 native speakers.

Like a distant relative. The tone is more familiar (as Frisian) than other continental languages but too many of the words have those distinct Dutch/German sounds for it to be too familiar sounding.

I do wonder how intelligible it is with Low German?

It reminds me Dutch and Frisian but mostly lacking harsh voiced fricatives.

It sounds like a mix of Dutch and Scandinavian. Some sentences are not different to German some are incomprehensible for me.
