Yes, the same is true of some Vainakhs for example, who sometimes look almost like Arabs.

But these are just isolated examples. On average, Tabasarans together with other people of Caucasus, will have much fairer complexion than Iranians/MENA.

Most Caucasians do not look European. In Russia they're considered "blacks" (chorny). Sometimes they're light, sometimes comparable to Balkanites or Southern Europeans (a Spanish guy for ex told me some Chechens can pass as Spanish) but many or most still look West Asian i.e. more similar to their Southern neighbors than to Northern. I didn't know this was news for you. Particularly North Caucasians also have that distinct Muslim look. I don't know how to explain that but Armenians and Georgians usually don't look Muslim. Balkan Slavs say the same about Bosnians by the way.

Dark eyes and hair is one thing, overall facial features is another. Southern Euros still look different from Arabs and Turks, that's for sure. Of course you can find ambiguous cases here and there but they're not the rule.
