Slavic speakers went through a genetic bottle neck about 3000 years ago. The Finns are mixed Uralic and Scandinavian people, obviously being more mixed than Slavs. The Finnish yDna is 30% Iron Age Scandinavian I1, 60% Iron Age Uralic N1c and the rest R1a and R1b. The slavs are still same Bronze Age R1a+I2.

I agree that most people won't be able to tell who's Eastern Euro and who's Western Euro. The examples posted before are cherry-picked to the max to make us all fit the stereotypes. When I posted myself for classification most users gave me some sort of Western/Northern phenotype (Alpinid, Brünn, etc) despite me being Polish. Phenotypes don't mean anything.
