Music from what decade/which decades do you like the most?

A multiple choice poll for you.

I think the best decade for music were the 90s - a lot of great metal bands were formed, many good ones released epic albums; rap was a thunder itself; pop music was significantly better; grunge and hardcore punk ruled. I appreciate the 2000s and the 80s about equally (the 2000s a little more). The 2010s weren't a great thing although some good stuff was released. I only listen to several 70s artists. Music before that ain't really my thing. Regarding the 2000s, the first half of that period was somewhat close to the 90s. In electronic music there was also some pretty good shit back then. I listen to and search for new stuff in various genres, too. I enjoy concerts a lot. Anyway, share your thoughts and vote.

I'm an Indie guy. My favorite band is MGMT. They started it all up in 2001, released their first album, Oracular Spectacular, in 2007 and have been making great music ever since. I also enjoy Alternative Rock. Radiohead is the first one which comes to mind. You're absolutely right about the 90's being outstanding years of music. Pablo Honey and OK Computer were released in this decade, for example. But I also like American Country and Folk music, along with some Jazz and Blues, so the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's are still in my heart. Good thread, by the way.
