Then I sguggest you to brush up on your observational skills. Again, who of them would stick out? There's not a one Spaniard in Spain who would bat an eye if anyone from that comp spoke perfect Castilian Spanish and acted as a local. And you have Spaniards here in this very thread - for example Gallop and gixajo - confirming that. I think they know better than a Moroccan from Belgium.

Well, if you only know the Spanish roads, service stations and highway rest areas, seeing the people who move like you at that time, 50% of the people you will have seen would be other North Africans crossing Spain going to take the ferries to North Africa and "guiris" who go on vacation to the beaches.
Oh and and many truckers from all over.
Putting the jokes aside and speaking more seriously...
I don't deny that there are Spaniards who look like North Africans, you already know that, but what they have posted here, including people with dark skin tones, are like the vast majority of Spaniards.
The vast majority of North Europeans, seeing them, will not stop saying that they are wogs and swarthy as a whole,I think that is not a cherrypicked selection with Nordic looking individuals precisely.
Do you really think that is so?

According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

But why are you making the comparison with north africans ? When I said they don't look representative that does not mean I view the average spaniard as north african looking. Average spaniard looks more mediterranean than what we can see in this set : members like you, Helen or duffmann are way more representative.

How I understood the original post is that it's supposed to represent the distribution of Spanish phenotypes, not that every one of them is supposed to be the average. That's why you see some quite exotic and some more pan-European types in there, while most of them lean towards the average. Most of those who posted in here (including me) don't really care about phenotypes in the way you think they do. You are vaguely familiar with my posting history, so you should know that I don't argue about pigmentation, facial features or whatever like some others here. This is a neutral topic to me, but I think that the OP represents the distribution pretty well.
