It isn't "lighter than avg", I see a good amount of dark types, avg types, and light types which makes sense b/c there is indeed a spectrum of phenotypes and pigmentation within 100% iberians.

Differences can be found even among Basques. Not the same people from Guipúzcoa than from Álava. That does not make more or less Basques to them.
