    Good thread, its not obvious.

    First position:

    -Probably CR
    -Maybe Colombia
-Maybe Paraguay, but they have to much italian, german and eastern european also.
-Maybe Chile, but I dont think so. They havr some non iberian that may be significant and I dont know if they are as whole more european than CR or Colombia.

    Other positions:

    - Venezuela: to much exodus combined with italians.
    - Mexico

Well according to this Venezuelans are the most European genetically, but their European ancestry isn't as Spanish as Colombians', Costa Ricans' and Mexicans'. However, Mexicans also seem to have the lowest percentage of European ancestry on average, so I'd discard them.

Chileans appear to be the second most European genetically, but the ones with the lowest share of Spanish contribution to their European ancestry, so I'd discard them as well. Paraguayans are a bit less European than Chileans, but at the same time more Spanish, so I'd say they're probably at the same level.

All in all, I'd say it's probably between Venezuelans, Colombians and Costa Ricans. I think on average Venezuelans may be less European than the ones getting tested at 23andMe, and they received more Italian immigration than Colombia and CR, so I'm gonna go with one of those two.

Based on what percentage of the total european component Iberia is.
I even agree that Mexico should be ahead of Paraguay, really nice estimates

In total numbers, Mexico(pop. 120 million) overpowers Chile(pop. 18 million) when it comes to individuals with 50%+ iberian ancestry. But it also overpowers them when it comes to individuals with 50%+ amerindian ancestry.

I don't think he meant in absolute numbers though... it'd be a bit ridiculous to compare a big country like Mexico with smaller South American countries.

    Interesting choose.

Could you justify? Any genetic study or just personal perception?

Just a personal perception based in the Paraguayans that I know irl. But I could be wrong, I don't know anything about this issue.
