Above is a photo of Texas State Representative Kyle Biedermann (R - Fredericksburg), and he represents the 73rd District in the state legislature. According to the Wiki article about him, "On January 26, 2021, Biedermann filed the Texas Independence Referendum Act (HB 1359), a bill to secede from the United States, allowing Texans the opportunity for self-determination." The photo was provided to thetexan.news by the representative's office.

Texans have always joked about Texas being its’ own country. We’ll see how this goes being that Austin is literally a cesspool for SJW’s.

If the bill passes in the Texas House and Senate there will be a referendum and then Texans will get to choose. I doubt it will get enough support, but I hope it does.
