Croatian Post/Customs stealing packages!!!

I ordered a Christmas gift (very rare Rock CD) for my father from USA more than two months ago ((
And when it finally came to Croatia, package was lost which basically means it was stolen on Customs ( It already happened to papa years ago and this was first time after many years I buy his gift in USA. Big mistake!

Croatian Post play dumb despite package has tracking number and it's clear it arrived to Zagreb, now they try to shift responsibility to sender and claim THEY NEED TO MAKE A SEARCH despite package is in Croatia and not USA!

I'll sue their ass!

Furious as fuck!! Now I understand why sites like 23andme charge shipping to Croatia so much. Because tons of these packages end up stolen on the customs or by postal workers.

We'll see how happy they'll be when I subpoena them. Motherfuckers!!!

Yeah, Corrupt custom officers are a problem everywhere in the Balkans, Croatia being not Balkan, the situation is probably a bit better.
Here we avoid the Post service, and use DHL, UPS, when receiving valuable goods from abroad

The Russian Post also has a faulty reputation, but now they are struggling to fix it. Usually they were accused of being slow and not giving a damn about clients, but not theft. Most often, older women worked there for a very low salary and with an appropriate attitude to work.
In recent years, I do not see these women, mainly young people in the workplace.
As for my negative experience, I ordered some kind of rare DVD in the 2000s, and when I came to pick it up, I received only fragments instead, as if someone had jumped on this disc. But this happened only once, there were no more problems with receiving or sending.

For things so it is why I call Eastern Europe Second World, this is unthinkable here. I bought "a little thing" some months ago and a day I saw the bag in my post box but I was in a hurry and could not caught it. Well, when I went for my package in the evening someone had stolen it for sure it was some of my fuckin neighbors. Then I called Correos, the state owned company, and they opened an investigation and promised from now on they would deliver my packages personally in my door. And so they are doing since then.
