I don't see anyone mentioning Kurds, you seem to be very sensitive.
Can you then please educate the rest of us dummies as where are Kurds native to?
Who do you consider native to eastern Turkey?

Is that really an answer to what I said? You made a point that can't be applied to the Basques and you know it. I never said if they deserve anything or not, i just said that they are in an unfavorable position and you gave me an ironical answer for no reason.

It was always like that, it was never independent territory, it was incorporated in Castile even centuries before the formation of the Kingdom of Spain. Basques are even more hardcore Spaniards than Andalusians dude. People write to much nonsense on this forum.

If you didn't say they deserved then i misunderstood.

I don't know why my point can't be applied to basques. Many countries are located between larger countries like Switzerland for example.

Did I ever claimed the opposite of that? Can't understand why do people get emotional so easily.

Do you think that the Basques would be let to make their own state if they wished to?

Then why not having a referendum for independence in every region in Europe? If it's up to what people wish...

What about French Basque Country? Do it deserve the independence too?

The papers talked about something less than 30% of negative rh among Basques, not a 40%.

If any group with its own characteristics deserves a country, Europe could be divided into several hundred countries.

Anyway, on this matter, the ones we can talk about are Aldaris, Spaniard2.0, perikolez and me.

As a Basque (and Spanish in my case), I am not interested in Balkanizing Spain. All nationalism is nothing more than a trick to confront another, and if I have to choose the less bad nationalism, I choose a nationalism that unites, and makes us form part of something greater, than one that separates and makes us smaller.

As for what is special about Basque genetics, it is so special that in autosomal analyzes dedicated to ethnic estimates of commercial companies, the Basque component has been taken as the basis for the "Iberian", which is still a bit strange knowing this, that the uniqueness of Basque genetics is defended.

What is really unique in Basques, is the language. I will always say, that is the real treasure. In genetics there will be differences, but they are still part of the Iberian, and they look nothing more like another Iberian.

"San Juan loreek ditu usańa eta herrien arima,
Euskal Herriyan euskara gabe, irin gabeko ogiya"

You know, old songs know already what was the true differentiating element.
