Why do women now only want to date younger men?

I'm 47 and if I were single, I highly doubt I'd be looking into a relationship with any woman in her early 20's. I really haven't noticed women going after much younger men either, especially amongst the educated crowd. If she's in her late 20's and early 30's, she's going to want a man that has his own home or is able to purchase a home with her. My little cousin is in his mid 20's and lives in NYC and has women asking for his credit score. That's insane but that's the world we live in these days.

More women are obtaining traditional college degrees than men these days. They don't "need" a man. Educated women have higher standards and if she's 35 and wanting kids, she's probably not going to look for a guy that is 22-25 years old that doesn't have a degree that fits with her long-term plans either. Well-paid tradesmen are likely the exception.

Around 40 should be the peak of your career. It's like every age range of women is available and potentially wants to fuck you.

You should focus on loosing weight to regain confidence first and feel better both physically and mentally, because it seems to be the bigger issue here. It will help more than you imagine, or ever experienced, and then some. I think you can be good looking with 30kg less or so, it will free your mind a lot and give you more energy to spend elsewhere than sitting here all day.


However, don't be fooled by all the pretty stuff and positive attitude, available women you will find are likely as struggling as you are and if you look for a serious relationship you ll have to start to test them effectively, and stealthly, not like a obvious morron as it seems you are doing here. For now focus on yourself and loosing weight is my advice.

Why shouldn't they, we men want to date girls younger than us most of the time.

Older man are fat and lack the stamina needed to do the job, and often are too "laid back" to actually be sexually attractive.

I think in general women still want a bit older partner, maybe except for some milfs who look for quick relationships or sth.
The thing is that it is easier to push somebody away with a reason that is not debatable, like someones age.
If she tells you you are not handsome enough, not agile enough etc i can imagine you start debating like you do it here even if ppl tell you their honest opinion. Its understandable they choose the easy way out

as a general rule of thumb a man should date a girl who is: (( mans age / 2) +4)

therefore for me, that would be: ((47/2) * 4) = 27

Anyhow as a general rule you should date someone the same age as you and definitely not as young as 20 years your junior. She's going to outlive you by three decades and if you have anything in common it'll be a sad indictment on your state of emotional development.
