Why aren't Arab men as fetishized as Latin men?

I’ve been confused for as an arab, when I was 13 or 14 (if I recall correctly) going to Portugal this paranoid tall, white bearded, white old guy going to Fatima (super Catholic.. I am catholic too) was testing me asking me racist questions b/c he was scared I was a terrorist or something. Watched me and my siblings all flight fucking long, weirdo. This made me feel bad for Arabs traveling, must be hell... and I felt that first-hand. Also been taken by the security to do double checks when with my fam and singled out for checkups. Ridiculous. Maybe some girls think I’m Muslim based on my face and don’t like me based on these theories??? I don’t think I look that arab now, but who knows lol... I’m obviously not Muslim lol. I don’t personally think Arabs are bad looking... not sure why I hear that stereotype here, but not true in my experience, it’s like seeing an ugly white man and generalizing all white men to be ugly... or better yet, basing your attractiveness of a “race” of people based on disagreeing with their political or religious (or both) agendas.

I feel like in the beginning you cared way less about these things. Oh man, I used to care a lot about it... trust me now I’m fine in my skin. I’ve in a way evolved my point of view and got the dumb obsession out of my head. I’m happy being the way I am, phenotype wise, my face is a different story which is a part of my bdd... but my ethnicity and identity issue shit is done. So no worries. And yes, I know what you mean when you say you’ve seen more people who are even more “exotic” than me. I have too, not that Ik if they are full or foreign... I don’t question, but yes, indeed it’s a hard truth for some to accept. It actually makes me question, is some of the obsessed users instantly book people as Gypsies or foreign if they have dark skin, probably, and that would be funny. And this is true in all of southerner Europe... it’s not fucking rocket science that the first natives of Southern Europe and actually, in fact, all of Europe were quite dark before indo euros invaded, hunter gathers and EEF people were as well.

Both come from Mediterranean cultures, both have that swarthier look that women tend to be into, yet Arab men continue to be seen as disgusting and nasty while Southern European men are seen as sexy and exotic. What gives?

As i said europeans are individualist in general arabs are totaly different, according to my chat experience tons of MENA complained that it's impossible to get european woman, or even almost every 2. european are banning chat users from Africa or Middle East. Only blacks and east asians can be sucessful in Eutope because some people have such fetish they like the dark skin difference or some are k-pop fanatics, but arabs have very bad reputation here because of their different culture and mentality. These are facts, you should choose a decent muslim arab girl.

4. If someone really attracted to dark skin she would choose blacks instead of arabs

I disagree, they are not that ugly. Also, Arab skin is not dark at all when compared to black Africans

Honestly unkept white dudes can be just as nasty if not nastier than "nasty" Middle Eastern guys. I feel like if a white dude is unkept/unhygienic it worsens his image far worse than it would for say, an Arab Muslim male.

It also depends if they're into that "foreign" look, which plenty of girls are TBH. And in a weird way I feel like Muslim culture is more loyal/stronger towards its roots compared to Latino cultures. Muslim men are proud of their own culture and being mistaken as a Latin I feel would not be a compliment to them.
