In which country do you think the public diverges from its government/political system the most?

I would guess Iran. Despite being ruled by an Islamist regime, the Iranian people seem to be more secular and liberal than their Iraqi, Afghan and Pakistani neighbours. Definitely more secular and liberal than most Gulf Arabs and many Levantines and NAs too.

Most people cannot stand the curent government and are openly disgusted by it. A statistics published few weeks ago said 73% of Bulgarians don't want another government ruled by GERB.
