Hangover is decent too .

Watch American Pyscho , it's really messed up but good .
Can't believe you mention Martin Scorsese and leave out Raging Bull. Also, can't believe you left out 2001:A Space Odyssey when talking about sci fi.

Shawshank, Godfather and Goodfellas I've seen all more than once. Saw Back to the Future in quarantine.

Will add American Psycho to my watchlist.

my second favourite so far (LOTR series comes first - but this one matches it in depth)

I recommend anyone who watches it to, at the first stages, apreciate the leviane aspects and tolerate the weirdness of the plot; later on you will see it all come togheter - and have a few laughs, and a whole other range of emotions, in the meantime

Thanks. Not sure about this one. Ebert is an excellent critic, but it seems most weren't with him on this one. I do think Ebert is the best critic so his opinion has a lot of value.

I added your recommendation Gone girl. Make sure you see mine as well and comment what you think of it.

Is it decently paced? 3 hours is very long if the movie isn't well paced.

Seen Chinatown twice and Rosemary's Baby once. I really like Roman Polanski.

I've also seen Amadeus from that list. I like Milos Forman as well and I like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest alot (as well as Amadeus.)

I saw Pi recently. Really good thriller.

Ive seen it once. Decent. 2001 is Kubrick's best imo. Shining isn't really up there.

Aliens is a better horror film for sure.

Really like Full Metal Jacket, Paths of Glory and more by Kubrick.

The film is a typical Scorsese film. Fast paced with the main guy narrating the movie in a typical New York / jersey accent . You need to watch it . It's on Netflix although don't of its the same in Canada . You will love it man .

Like Goodfellas i guess. Raging bull man. Objectively what a film by Scorsese. Seen it 6 times.

I've heard someone say "Raging Bull is the greatest American film ever made. Goodfellas is 99.98% as good". While I don't agree completely, it shows how highly Scorsese is regarded.
