I used to returning home by public bus from nightlife in downtown, in the midlle of night or early in the morning, and walking through city in middle of night.

Exactly, its gipsys who are the real fuck up over there. Never had a single problem in Yugoslavia whenever I traveled there. Always nice and welcoming people. Had to beat up some retarded Gipsys there though. But I dont think that anyone from the balkans has the slightest problem with that.

The sad thing is that most western europeans just "know" Bulgaria through the gipsys you rightfully throw out of your county, that then wander of to Germany, Austria, Holland etc. Few look past that and know Bulgarians = surely no gippos but ordinary europeans.

I believe the "gypsy" stereotype is more with Romanians...not so much with Bulgarians.
