The basis is the Thessaloniki Bulgarian dialect / which belongs to the Eastern Bulgarian Rupian dialects. /, which they mastered, subjecting it to a very careful analysis and separated these sounds, which had to be marked with letters - the alphabet as a concept for recording the Slavic speech
The Cyrillic alphabet, in which some Slavic peoples write today, was created later in the Preslav Literary School in Bulgaria in the first half of the 10th century.
The language of the translations in the works of the Preslav and Ohrid schools is the Old Bulgarian literary language.
The Serbs had nothing. As is well known, the Slavs wrote with dashes and dashes. "So before the Slavs had no books, but being pagans, they read and foretold with dashes and cutting «О письменах» (Прѣжде ѹбо словѣне не имѣхѫ писменъ. нѫ чрътами и рѣзами чьтѣхѫ и гатаахѫ погани сѫще. кръстивше же сѧ. римьсками и гръчьскыми писмены. нѫждаахѫ сѧ словѣнскы рѣчь безъ устроениа When they were baptized, they were forced to write the Slavic language in Roman and Greek letters without structure. But how can it be written well in Greek letters: БОГЪ или ЖИВОТЪ, или ДЗѢЛО, или ЦРЬКꙐ, или ЧАꙖНЬѤ, или ШИРОТА, или ꙖДЪ, или ѪДОУ или ЮНОСТЬ, или ѨЗꙐКЪ and the like. And so it was for many years. "
Bulgars were still Turkic speakers at this time

^ B’lgari are a confused bunch of Serbo-Turks, are they of Serbian stock (90%) or are they Turk/Gaugazi (10%) of their origin.

Also Crn Volk, Turkish-Turk or Bulgarian-Gaugauz are agglutinative languages, they have nothing in common with Aryan Serbian. Today’s stupid B’lgari speak a direct dialect of Serbian, their Boris banned Gaugauz for Serbian they speak today and wrongfully call B’lgarsko ezik.
