Damn, wouldn't expect this around firefighting circles, especially in most multi-ethnic city like London, that's disgusting. Imagine actually doing the most respectable work in the world and still being disrespected for color of your skin, disgusting human beings.
Although we can't really come to conclussions since we don't know what realy happened.

Britain is a hyper-classist society and firefighers are working class. The most respectable job in the world ? I don't know what kind of drugs you are doing. The guy had more problems then his skin color in British society I'll tell you that. Britain is a land of ancient royalty and class privileges so you are right that you can't jump to conclusions.

Feeling an outlier sucks. escpecially if you are a person that is more vulnerable to social adversity. A bully boss is also sucks. Firefighter is like military I think, you have to go through some shit until you fit in better.
