I smoke cigars. They go really great with any whiskey or rum I may enjoy, and I love the flavors and aromas. Nice for periodic enjoyment.

It is unavoidable to indulge more smoking than advised in winter over there in Spain, I have noticed. It used to be good way to decompress after a hard day at the uni.

Smoking is super common in Spain, way more than here, especially cigarettes. I never picked up that habit in specific in all my twelve years of living there, but one of my friends over there got me into this cigar habit. He just offered me a Cuban one day when we were hanging out on the boat his father owns (or owned, I don't know). After that it became sort of ritual to go out almost every week or so and smoke a cigar while talking about politics or history, whatever. Fun times jaja.

The old timers over there told me that before the restricted spaces were adopted the smoking was even more insane than now. That's the one vice we definitely didn't get to take too keenly from them, despite the fact that Cuban (and increasingly Domi) puros are quite the delicacy, I must say.
